Jabari BrownJabari Brown
Assistant Coach

No stranger to the Southeastern Conference, Jabari Brown joined Kerrick Jackson's Tiger coaching staff in June 2023 after working with one of the league’s—and the nation’s—top programs for two years.

Brown was named the first recipient of Vanderbilt’s Maggie Corbin Minority Baseball Apprenticeship and spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons gaining knowledge in skill and leadership development, practice organization, video analysis, scouting, analytics and program building.

As a member of the Commodores’ staff (2022-23), Brown was a part of Vanderbilt’s 2023 SEC Tournament championship club that garnered the No. 6 national seed in this year’s NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. In two seasons, he helped VU rack up 81 victories, including a 39-win season and another NCAA Regional berth in 2021.

Before his time at Vandy, Brown began his coaching career at his alma mater, Claflin University (2018-20), where he served as assistant coach for three seasons. During Brown’s tenure, the Panthers engineered an eight-win improvement in 2019, hitting .300 as a team and averaging nearly eight runs per contest.

Brown played collegiately for four seasons at Claflin, where helped the Panthers capture the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title and a berth in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship in 2016.

A Chicago native, Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Claflin in 2016.

Tim JamiesonTim Jamieson
Assistant Coach

New Missouri baseball head coach Kerrick Jackson turned to a familiar figure for his first selection to his 2024 coaching staff, officially tabbing former Tiger head coach Tim Jamieson as the program’s pitching coach.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have 'Coach J' join us,” Jackson said. “His experience, his knowledge base and his track record of developing not only pitchers, but players, in general, and coaches as well…you couldn’t ask for a better fit. I’m glad he’s going to be on this journey with us to get this program back to the top.”

In 22 seasons as Mizzou's head baseball coach, Jamieson led the Tigers to 698 wins, trailing only Gene McArtor (733) on the Tigers’ all-time coaching victories chart. He coached eight All-Americans and 10 Freshman All-Americans and saw 75 of his Mizzou players drafted, including four first-rounders.

Jamieson, who was selected for induction into the Missouri Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in May 2023, returns to Columbia after serving as pitching coach under Jackson in his lone season at Memphis, where the duo helped lead the Tigers to their first winning season since 2017. Prior to his stop at UM, Jamieson spent three seasons (2020-22) as pitching coach at Southern Illinois, helping the Salukis compile a 96-42 record that included a pair of 40-win seasons. During that span, Jamieson's pitching staff led the Missouri Valley Conference in earned run average in 2022, after posting the second-best team ERA in the circuit in 2021.

“I'm extremely excited about coming back and helping fulfill Coach Jackson's vision for Mizzou Baseball,” Jamieson stated. "My relationship with my former players here has always been a source of inspiration for me. This coaching opportunity makes i much easier to stay connected to them."

As head coach of Missouri from 1995-2016, Jamieson’s teams topped the 30-win plateau on 15 occasions and captured nine NCAA Regional berths, including seven-straight appearances from 2003-09. He was a two-time conference coach of the year and piloted Mizzou to its last two conference crowns -- the 1996 Big 8 regular-season championship and the 2012 Big 12 Tournament title.

A highly-respected developer of talent, Jamieson has helped mentor Major League Baseball All-Stars Max Scherzer, Ian Kinsler, Aaron Crow and Kyle Gibson. Additionally, he has seen a total of 22 of his former pupils play in the big leagues. In addition to Scherzer (New York Mets) and Gibson (Baltimore), six more of his former Tiger standouts -- Tanner Houck (Boston), Josh Lester (Baltimore), Pete Fairbanks (Tampa Bay), Michael Plassmeyer (Philadelphia), Rob Zastryzny (Pittsburgh) and Bryce Montes De Oca (New York Mets) -- currently hold spots on Major League 40-man rosters. In all, Jamieson’s big league protégés have totaled 14 MLB All-Star nods, three Cy Young Awards and two Gold Glove Awards.

After completing his own standout playing career at the University of New Orleans, Jamieson spent six seasons (1983-88) on the UNO coaching staff, helping the Privateers to an appearance in the 1984 College World Series. He then returned to Columbia, where he was an assistant coach under McArtor for six years before being elevated to head coach in 1995.

Jamieson garnered 1996 Big 8 Coach of the Year and 2007 Big 12 Co-Coach of the Year honors, as his Missouri teams won 35 games or more nine times during his head coaching career. He was also selected to lead USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team as head coach in 2011.

A Columbia native, Jamieson grew up around the University of Missouri, as his father, Dick Jamieson, served as a Mizzou Football assistant coach on Al Onofrio’s staff from 1972-78.

Jamieson received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from New Orleans. A graduate of Columbia Rock Bridge High School, Jamieson is married to a Mizzou graduate, the former Cindy Thornton. They are the parents of two sons, Mickey and Ty.

Bryson LeBlancBryson LeBlanc
Assistant Coach

New Mizzou head coach Kerrick Jackson added former Tiger outfielder Bryson LeBlanc to his initial staff of full-time assistants in June 2023. The New Orleans native returns to Columbia after spending five seasons as an assistant coach at UC San Diego, where he served as third base coach, working primarily with the Tritons' hitters.

LeBlanc played on two NCAA Regional-qualifying squads for former Tiger head coach (and current assistant) Tim Jamieson (2005-06) before embarking on his coaching career.

LeBlanc helped guide UC San Diego through its transition to the NCAA Division I level, including a 34-18 campaign this spring that culminated in the program’s first Big West Conference title. That success came on the heels of two of the most successful seasons in program history to begin his tenure. In 2019, the Tritons captured a conference title and advanced to the Division II College World Series, before ascending to the top of the national polls to begin the abbreviated 2020 campaign.

Prior to his time in San Diego, LeBlanc coached for seven seasons at UC Riverside (2012-18), where he mentored 31 all-conference performers and 18 players who were selected in the MLB First-Year Player Draft. He also spent four seasons in administrative and coaching roles at Oregon (2008-11), where he helped the Ducks return to prominence with a 2010 NCAA Regional berth in just their second season after the reinstatement of the program.

In all, 46 of LeBlanc’s former players have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 14 who have been taken in the top 10 rounds. Six of those have advanced to the big leagues.

As a player LeBlanc was a part of MU’s 2005 club that won 40 games, as well as the Tigers’ 2006 team that captured the Malibu Regional to secure the first Super Regional berth in program history.

LeBlanc is a 2006 Mizzou graduate, having completed his bachelor's degree in biological sciences. He and his wife, Andria, are the parents of two boys, Christian and Camden.

Director of Player Personnel

Anthony Hansen joined the Tigers' staff this past fall after concluding his collegiate playing career under new Mizzou head coach Kerrick Jackson at Memphis in the spring.

A Columbia native, Hansen returns to mid-Missouri for his initial coaching foray after a standout playing career of his own. As a senior at Memphis, he hit. .290 with a club-best 12 home runs, while fielding at a .996 clip to help the Tigers register their first winning season since 2017.

Prior to his successful 2023 season in Memphis, Hansen starred for William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., hitting .300 or better in all four  seasons at the NCAA Division II school. In 2022, he was an ABCA All-American, as well as a CoSIDA Academic All-American after hitting 16 homers and setting a program record with 72 runs scored.

The Hickman High School product graduated from William Jewell in 2022 with a degree in business administration and non-profit leadership. He is currently working toward a graduate degree in positive coaching and athletic leadership at Mizzou.

Hampton HudsonHampton Hudson
Graduate Assistant

University of Missouri Head Coach Kerrick Jackson finalized his 2025 coaching staff in early September, announcing the addition of Hampton Hudson as the Tigers’ new graduate assistant.

Hudson will step into the role of graduate assistant after gaining experience as a sports performance coach over the last two years. He has trained youth, collegiate and professional athletes, in addition to working with The Dunham School in Baton Rouge, La., as a strength and conditioning coach for baseball, basketball and football. Additionally, Hudson has assisted the Traction Canes travel ball organization, coaching both youth and high school national teams.

A native of Baton Rouge, Hudson completed a four-year collegiate playing career at hometown Southern University (2016-20), including two seasons under the tutelage of Jackson as his head coach. His best year as a Jaguar came in 2019, when he batted .295 with 31 RBIs and 17 steals to help Southern to a 32-win season, a SWAC championship and an NCAA Regional appearance.

Hudson earned his bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Southern in 2020.
